I could see AU offering to meet in the middle on this.

Rarely do people pay the entire amounts of buyouts as well. 2mil is not all that.

Not saying, he is coming, but the money aspect as a retort to him not coming is not all that

Did you read the link?

Nope not at all.
Now I look fricking stupid.

Anyways, 200k a month isn't really that cheap either. But who ever it was that negotiated that deal on his end is as a big of dumbass as I just was.

Come back when you can actually make a decent argument as to why Fisher would want to leave FSU for Auburn.

I'm sure that you realize that Fisher coached at Auburn for 5 years, has family that lives in Alabama, played in Alabama, has ties to Auburn with friends, knows the higher ups at Auburn, and has spent the majority of his career in the SEC.

His personal life will probably have no bearing on his decision if he was offered the job. Probably having his son 2 hrs from one of the best medical facilities in the country wouldn't have any effect on his decision either.

All about that weak ACC, eh? Nothing else matters.

Why wouldn't ya want BP? Serious question..

As far as Jimbo put yourself in his shoes, meaning take the auburn fan outta ya for just a second.

Why would he wanna come to the toughest conference, in the toughest division, and try to get to the NC?

He can sit back and FSU, rake in recruiting classes and have a much easier road. not to mention that's his baby that he has built.

It's not gonna be about Money FSU will match whatever someone throws at him, unless it's 10 mill a year or something ridiculous.

But I still don't get the hate for BP?

Its also an annual progression down. Its a reasonable buyout to get out from under.

So if he loves AU so much and y'all love him so much, why didn't he jump at the chance to come 4 years ago? Seems like he would have been a much better hire than Chizik.

1. His defenses aren't good.
2. He has yet to win a SECCG.
3. He has yet to continuously beat Saban
4. He leaves a cluster frick at ever program.

Cant field or recruit a defense. You have to have defense to win in the SEC. Geez, an LSU fan should know that.

Coaches have egos and like challenges. what is more challenging than the SEC?

He can do that at Auburn.

They will?

FSU hasnt had to get in a bidding war in 50 years. They can, but they will?

He interviewed and we turned him down. He was still an OC at the time.

I can't believe that Auburn isn't going to give him 1 more year after winning an NC. IF Bama wasn't as good as they are now, they wouldn't even consider getting rid of chizik.

So don't they have something called defensive Coordinator's? Bring in BP and hire a good DC.

And Of course they will match Offers, If I remember reading right, Fisher is FSU's 9th head coach, They haven't had to "battle". But it tells you they just don't let them walk away either. Bobby was never gonna leave FSU, they had to force him out. If you think AU is gonna throw 4 mill a year at him and he is just gonna pack his bags, I don't know what else to say.

You think he'll remember that? FSU was willing to invest in him and AU wasn't.
