Pretty sure Texas is going to win everything related to "number of ___ in the SEC" due to sheer numbers, not to mention high concentrations of LSU, Arkansas, Bama, etc grads also in TX cities. If it isn't a viewers per state population, it means nothing
It means the sheer numbers of TX viewers added to the already established fan bases of other SEC team =
which in turn means more $ for all schools.
SEC dominance

North Carolina is the 10th most populous state, Arkansas is 32nd.

The SEC has no idea what it got itself in to. We are going to be running the show soon.

does this mean Tx folk don't work or don't have cable???
You could be on to something here. You have to have cable in order to use a dvr to record ESPNU or gain access to ESPN3. Obviously Texas people are poor.

Also, you have to remember that Arkansas is ranked 44th in "Technology & Innovation" while N. Carolina is 12th (part of the ranking is based on deployment of broadband services)

Because more guys went to the SEC website during a 3 day period? Yeah its over.
A&M can't even run its own state then it sure as hell can't run the SEC.

That was my thought when I saw the 52% new viewers. More viewers/fans will be another boon for the conference.

This should be expected in pure population terms IMO. Still glad to see it though. Add a zero to the end of that TV contract Mr. Slive!
I'd be interested to know the per capita numbers(since that's where MS would be alot more competitive)..

And also to the A&M fans this is all new to them so they are probably lapping this shite up, watching every single interview.

Only thing you'll be running soon is a pain pump after all of the arse kickings your team takes.

True. I really enjoy hearing a lot of the other school's coaches and players....that and Sumlin is one smooth S.O.B.

Exactly, but these Texans need validation that their state is huge
Let's see the par capita numbers, please

And yet Mississippi was ahead of Arkansas.
You gonna tell me Mississippi has more people and is more tech savvy?

Almost an exact linear correlation to the number of new tv sets in Mizzou and Texas...

True. I'm sure Freezus ginned up a lot of interest this year.
Without seeing last year's raw numbers vs. this year's raw numbers it's difficult to say anything with much certainty.
But I would venture to guess the fallout from Petrino's departure is putting a damper on Arkansas fan interest.
