A "moment" technically doesn't have to be a single play, dude
It kinda sorta does. What kind of time frame are you placing on a moment then..a drive, a quarter, a full 3 hour football game? If we're talking about "the greatest moment" in whatever, it typically is a single play.

I'm going to go with the first SECCG. That changed everything, and led to the SEC that we all know and love today.

Frank Sinkwich Heisman speech
quote:
"Let me tell you this is one of the biggest moments in my life, which is one of two up to date,One is receiving this trophy, and the other was when the U.S. Marines let me put this uniform on."
quote:
Facts about Frank Sinkwich:
Parents were Croatian immigrants from Russian Georgia.
Did not receive the Heisman trophy in 1942 due to wartime restrictions on metal, received a certificate and after the war received the trophy.
1st player from a southern college to win the Heisman.
1st winner to wear a facemask - due to a jaw broken in 1941.
Scored 27 tds in 1942 the year he won the Heisman.

Could also put, the day the Charter began for the SEC, moving teams away from the Southern Conference, or the actual day the SEC agreed to a Championship game. That decision facilitated the reality of what's being discussed now, with a plus one and a playoff, with the success it's had.
Even though your opinion annoys me 99% of the time I agree with this.

Which could be said to be the day Arkansas pulled the trigger, leaving behind a 76 year conference affiliation and becoming team #11.

For a moment I am going with BamaFan89. Not JJ's wonderful pass but the actual opening kickoff for the first BCS Championship between two teams from the same conference.
