that's definitely up there. Rob Bolden's uncle (Don McNeill) was the guy who saved what should have been a touchdown not two plays earlier though

That officially happened in 1990, brah. But I agree, it was the best thing to happen to the SEC ever.
We actually started SEC play in basketball in 1991, fwiw.

-Warren Morris walk off
-Doug Thompson finishing off Alabama for the National Championship after polishing off a bottle of Jack Daniels the night before. That's a personal favorite of mine. Especially from the stories I was told of what he said and whatnot.
-LSU's sacking of Eli in 2003.
-Shaun Alexander ripping the LSU defense a new one his freshman year.
-1994 Rollin' with Nolan's 40 minutes of hell and topping Duke to win the National Championship.
-Tim Tebow being the first sophomore to win the Heisman.
-1997...LSU-28 Florida-21.

Warren Morris is a good choice
Moment to me means one throw/shot/hit that wins something or has a national impact

In all seriousness, it should be Grant Gillis intercepting a Husky pass to seal the 20-19 win for UA in the '26 Rose Bowl. That game changed everything. Southern football stood up and everyone took notice..

Oh yeah, how could I forget that one.

Not even remotely close.

Not a moment, and where's the significance?

That's a game not a moment.

No, since that award is biased as frick.

I notice you conveniently left out the Warren Morris home run (which is the correct answer).

I know...I know..
But watch this all the way through. At about the 1:30 moment, the guy goes on and talks about what that game, and moment, meant for Southern football.

It's really the only logical choice. Bottom of the 9th. 2 outs. National Championship is on the line...

Because that one would actually be a valid answer to the question, unlike the multiple others you posted that are not.

Obviously it was when Herschel Walker ran over Bill Bates on his first ever run from scrimmage, en route to a TD, signaling to the rest of the CFB world that the greatest CFB player ever is, was, and forever shall be a member of the SEC. Duh.

Meh...I think you can make an argument (it would be a highly biased argument) with the Eli sack or Tebow heisman. Obviously, it would be for more LSU/Florida fans, but it has some weight.

I absolutely could be wrong here and am in no way sure of this, but I don't think that was his first carry. I believe he had a few before that run.

Rainbow City's Brodie Croyle gettin' carted off in the second half of a meaningless blowout vs Western Kentucky ? I bet they loved that in West Georgia
