I'm all for losing it at the appropriate times but those should be few and far between. I think Foley had someone show him tapes of his explosions to show him how silly he can look. He needs to keep his composure to lead the team through adversity.
I agree. But there is that level where you go overboard so often that it's all anyone sees. Merlin, Dooley, and Muschamp all had some moments early in the year and they all seemed to move away from that to a degree in a good way.

this time the entire blocking scheme was geared to slowing jarvis jones down and it worked very well. they high lowed him a few times and most the times you saw backs and TE taking out his legs

As long as he's called Boom he's not escaping his reputation of being a hot head unless he really chills out over the next few years.
I good with his passion as long as he controls it and it doesn't bleed over into his ability to keep the players on task.

I'm more worried about the OC, but with the number of players we had going down over the season we need some improvement there.

I think he found a balance toward the end of the season

inb4Richt bashing. If that's all you have to offer, save your breathe, I've heard enough of it. Nothing you say in that regard will be new, thought provoking, or funny, just white noise
And this is why UGA will always be good old above average UGA. Their coach just gave one of the worst performances in program history and the fans still refuse to acknowledge his failures as a legitimate part of the debate on how to make UGA elite.

I don't think that was his point at all. All durden was saying is we have heard you all bitch about richt all day and we are sick of hearing the same hackneyed shite. He's our coach, you don't think we don't know he is worthless? Head to to the DR. Read the ajc. Don't act like our fan base is just so ignorant to what you mighty bammers and LSUers have come to understand, we watched the game too

i fricking hate all of you and i hate mark richt
i don't blame you one damn bit (on both counts). it's tough when your team is down; i remember very well how it feels. richt has fielded some damn good teams though and it appears to me that he is at least trying to get back to that level. for awhile he looked like he didn't give much of a damn.

Yea, he can really show he cares by booting his BFF bobo. This has gotten out of hand

Richt is good for Ga. He will be there for a long time.....

UGA's OL is horrible... until they truly commit themselves to running the ball and being physical on offense, they will continue to get beat by good defensive fronts.
Yup.

How about with a 7 point lead and 3:50 left in the 4th quarter, you actually cowboy up and TRY to get a first down! And then with 2:00 you go into the prevent defense? Coaching lost that game yesterday....

The UGA folks know what lost that game yesterday. They just can't do a damn thing about it.

I think MSU just watched the LSU tape and decided that if they could find a way to be in it in the second half, then they could start running the ball and throwing across the middle because we wouldn't have the gas to keep up. Guys were in shape, just lacked anyone to spell them
If MSU could gather all that from the LSU film, then why couldn't Richt and the Georgia assistants develop some sort of game plan to compensate? Where was the aggressive style of play from the first half of the SECCG? Why wasn't Gholston made to run around using energy to chase plays? Why wasn't he worn down, or did MSU have people to spell him without suffering a serious decline in productivity? This loss was all on the coaches, from game planning to play calling and game management. Georgia was poorly prepared.

Wow.
I'll be glad when Bama gets to push your pussy, out of shape team around for 60 min.
I hope you keep Richt 4ever

what are the odds UGA does something good for once and demoted bobo? .05%?
sounds about right. Looks like we'll pull in a damn fine recruiting class thanks to Captain Dipshit so, somehow, that will justify his atrocious decision making

Exactly, hence I said why bother bringing Richt up. We all know how bad he fricked up. It'd be like saying Walsh is a shitty kicker over and over again, or that grass is green. Saying it once might help some sort of healing process, but over and over is just :beatdeadhorse:
