For most people, probably because they are insecure about the raping that was handed to their team by Cam.
Unlikely, no one asked it about any of the other BCSC quarterbacks that they "raped". And by saying that it was handed to them by Cam (and not the AU team) is basically admitting he did most of the work.
BTW, the USC investigation took 6 years, pal.

One thing I pointed out to an AU fan is that without Cam AU would have been an 8 win team at best. Consider that going into this season the expectations would have been the same due to the losses. Most people expect AU to be at best a 7 win team this year. Now consider that it's Chizick's third year and no one expects him to do anything. Then again thats the difference in contenders and wanna be's. LSU, FL, or BAMA gets a new coach we expect to win it all by the third year. AU gets one and starts preping their grandchildren for the next #1 to come around.
You obviously know nothing about recruiting classes. Go back to the bama boards and circle jerk.

Morons like you keep saying this…
There was factual evidence of Bush receiving benefits from the start, and the media found even more as the investigation went on. As you know, there is no incriminating evidence against Auburn, and it's over 10 months in

Will everyone that has stated that Cam wasn't a huge portion of our Championship run, please raise your hands...
anyone???
Well, since your questions was pertaining to Cam, i gave my answer in relation to Cam. If it was asked why most people start these threads about Fairley, I would have said because he raping your QB's. Guess that doesn't compute though.

There was no scandal about Fairley so no one asked the question. Could you define "huge portion" for me please, by percentage maybe? Just to put his contribution in perspective.

Damn that takes too much work. Lets say, led the SEC in rushing, set record for most rushing yards by QB, 20 something passing TD's was it??
Hell, he could have been 100% of our offense, but your argument still doesn't work, there are just too many variables.
Eta: my final point in this crap. You keep saying that because of the scandal you can make the argument, yet you say we did pay him. Therefore, how does the scandal have any bearing on the season? The thread should be then, if Cam was proven to have taken money before te season, how would AU do?

Cam Newton contributed 100% to the National Championship.
But Dyer also contributed 100% to the National Championship.. and Fairley.. and Adams.. and McCaleb.. and Lutzenkirchen.. and Ziemba and EVEN Mosley all contributed 100% to the national championship.
Do I personally think Auburn would have won the National Championship without Cam last year, HECK NO! But if you had asked me 1 week before the start of the 2010 season if Auburn was going to win the National Championship WITH Cam, I would have told you No Way!
It's the same logic, would you have said with Cam Aub would have won the NC last year 1 week before the football season? If you say yes to that, it's the same way as saying "there is no way they win all their games last year without him".
ETA: Both statements are ignorant and retarded. You can't determine anything in "la la land", thank goodness the football season isn't done in "facts and stats" instead of on the field every Saturday.

We can play the what if games all night but the fact is is that they DID have him and that's all that matters I'm sick of these "well if y'all didn't have cam newton" threads. There's alot of people on this board that are fans of other teams but are AUbsessed!

That was not the original purpose of this thread. Im sure you havent read every post on here, as it got filled with junk fairly quickly. Im the OP and I was giving my opinion on a topic brought up by a few of my AUBURN freinds in which they said, "Auburn without Cam Newton would have one 10 or 9 games last year". I disagreed. This discussion gives my opinion and my rationale for said opinion. This was the original post, nothing more. I didn't show any aggression towards anyone or any opinion. I know the games already happened and there's nothing I can do to change that this, but the topic piqued my interest enough to post about it. And if you dont like the content of the topic or question why it was posted, please do not reply. Thanks.

he skipped town the second Cam showed up: he wouldn't have left Auburn after 1 year either like Cam did. HE was going to be Auburn's QB for the 2010 season.
My opinion on what happened to Rollison is very different from yours. He had issues well before Cam was recruited to Auburn. If I remember, rumors of him transferring surfaced well before Cam came to AU.

Malzahn is such a great coordinator that they are currently poorly ranked in several offensive categories...and this while playing against lower echelon teams in terms of defense.
AUs special teams and a few lucky breaks on defense has carried this team through two games.
And Poor tackling on the part of other teams. Seriously...Emory Blake is not that hard to tackle. Fast yes, but poor defensive efforts to get to him has led to long touchdowns for him. It is what it is.
