Anything under 6 games and Nutt is gone although like Coach said I think everyone comes back.

Ole Miss literally can't afford to fire him and have any money left to hire another coach. Ole Miss' best option is to have him leave ala' Arkansas to Ole Miss style. WOuld be about a $10,000,000 buyout to get rid of him and the DC.

Why does everybody outside of Mississippi State assume that Dan Mullen wants out of Starkville so bad? He actually has it made as long as he wins between 7 and 9 games and takes us to bowl games he has it made.

Because Starkville blows. MSU is the second worst program in the SEC. And Mullens ego. He thinks he's a national championship coach, and state isn't a national championship program

Unless Mullen gets another job, everyone will be back.

Nutt will on the chopping block for 2012, if they finish dead last again.

ETA: I could see Spurrier retiring after next year.

Didn't say he should be fired but he will be if we lose seven or more games this year. Because let's be honest here winning six games with our scheduling habits SHOULD be extraordinarily easy.

We all know Oxford is the gem of the south.

Well, what the hell is Ole Miss then.

Thanks for the news flash Brokaw, about 1% of D-1 schools contend to win a NC EVERY year and Mullen knows that. What do you think he's gonna say being paid the salary he is getting? "Oh, I guess I'll be satisfied with winning 6 or 7 games and going to the Liberty bowl"

We're the 4th worst. I didn't say he'd leave state for OM, but for a national championship program. The top 15 programs are national championship programs. That's what I was saying. Stop comparing everything to OM

Mullen only leaves Starkville to go to Penn State, Georgia, and the like. He makes too much money and has too much power to go anywhere less than a perennial top 15 national program

I didn't, I ask where Ole Miss ranked in the SEC IYO since State is 2nd worse.

Depending on how the season goes in terms of W-L I think he could wait out until Clowney leaves (which I just assume Clowney will leave after 3 years if the opportunity is there. Same goes for A.Jeffery and Lattimore)

He is going to wait it out until a DE leaves?

That's comparing you moron. I said Mullen will leave state because it's the second worst program in the SEC. Your response was "oh yeah, what's OM" and I said Starkville blows, which is another reason Mullen would leave and you bring Oxford into the argument. If you think Nutt will leave OM for another program, which is what the thread is about... which coaches are leaving, then fine, bring Oxford and our program into the discussion. But it's not. I say something negative about state because it has to do with the thread and your response is something negative about OM, which had nothing to do with the thread. That's comparing
