The Saints don't need a RB. LB or DL in round 1 - lock

I bet Sean Payton could do some damage with McCluster. He will be available at 32 I'm sure.

I wouldn't mind McCluster if Reggie decides to leave. Hopefully he stays though.

The Saints are going defense with their first couple of picks. I have no idea if Anthony Dixon is a first rounder or not, but if he is he won't be taken by New Orleans. As for Cody, he's definately not a first round guy in my book, but he could be a good pick up for the Saints in round 2 or 3.

Dixon is a 2nd rounder. Cody can't play in anything but a 3-4 scheme

I would have agreed with you before the Senior Bowl, but he really impressed me in that game.

Odd.. after the senior bowl I absolutely do not want him.

I think Dixon was a great college back. I have a feeling he's a guy who will drop pretty significantly during the draft.

Of course, it all depends on the combine...but I'm thinking his numbers will not be great.

Cody was overrated in college and will eat his way out of the NFL. I would hate for the Saints to waste a pick on him.

Payton likes to go Big school in the first round round or two then drop down and start drafting sleepers which have worked out REALLY GOOD for him.

Detillier says the Saints love Chad Jones at the end of the first round.

Hell no. I liked Jones at LSU but he was not anything special. He is a 3rd rounder and is a idiot for not playing his senior year. He is probably better suited to be a LB in the NFL than a safety.

Dixon is a probable 2nd round pick. I do believe that he was probably the most underrated back in the country last year. I wish he had played for LSU. The kid is tough. I did read where the Texans were interested in him.

Might want to put together a big package to offer Miami at # 12

With the 32nd pick the New Orleans Saints select Navarro Bowman lb from Penn St.

If hes not the pick its because Mays from USC and a hybrid guy like him who could maybe play linebacker and db would fit Williams system really well. Chad Jones would be another guy but hes not a first round pick IMO.

We have Seddrick Ellis, Charles Grant and Hargrove on the DL. I'd draft a linebacker.

Charles Grant probably has played his last down as a Saint.

We go DL first, and than OLB. I wouldnt draft an offensive player.

The Saints MUST get better in the middle of the defense. Drafting offense makes no sense in the first round. They can use another DT or LB.
