There is no excuse for what he did, it was pretty low and something I would not expect out of someone like Spikes. In no way am I making an excuse for him, but plays earlier he was sidelined because it appeared he was poked in the eye by a UGA linemen. No reason it should have happened, but it is the only thing I could think of that was possibly going through his mind.

Florida is the new Thug U. They have about 25 arrests since Urban has taken over. Former Thug U, Miami, has 1-2 arrests in the same time period. Florida has the most arrests of any one in the SEC. I have no respect for Urban and that goes back where he reinstated a DL to play aginst LSU where they knew he failed drug tests, only to kick him off the team later in the year. I love how the Florida fans defend this by saying this stuff happens under every pile. That is complete BS. Gouging eyes out is not something that happens all the time. Thug Spikes ought to be suspended.

There was a thread started a few weeks ago about how dirty Spikes was and every single Florida fan defended him saying he has done nothing wrong in his entire career.

Sorry to say this Gator fans...but Spikes will end up like Haynesworth in the NFL...he will be pulling opposing players helmet off and stomping him in the head (what was shown what he did today is pretty close)....dude better get his shite in check or he will be in anger management classes (assigned by the league or a judge).

Saw the move during the game and backed it up for my brother to see. Spikes was probably the chippiest guy on the field the whole game. I'm really hoping he gets suspended for at least a game.
