Is it single digits wins if you lose every game?

Baseball isn't a real collegiate sport.

Mizzou admin and fans both realize the investment needed just to make baseball "average" and neither the admin or fans care enough about baseball to make that investment.

Money and support are better used elsewhere.

We wrestle, which is more of a collegiate sport than baseball.

ETA--if it also requires a state law to exempt NIL income from income tax, then frick it all. I will never support shite like that and I'd rather defend the whole athletic department than let college athletes get protections that normal citizens don't.

Any chance Kerrick survives this? Does even want to survive it?

I don't think anyone wants to survive it. Picture Jonestown, but everyone spiking their own Kool-aid with cyanide.

It was done to try and give your school a leg up in recruiting. Write your local senator if you're so worked up about it. The athletes didn't lobby for it.

Yall aren’t even good at wrestling. Being middle of the pack at an obscure sport isn’t something to be proud of.

Doesn’t that describe them at their “best” sports, too? They make self-own memes about being in the middle third

The denial is real strong with this one.

They haven’t had a winning conference record since joining the SEC in 2012. Their best record is 15-15 in 2015.

They are going to shatter the all time losing record. Below is the worst seasons in the modern era.

Worst conference records since 1970
.148 1989 Tennessee (4-23)
.154 1994 Alabama (4-22)
.172 2000 Vanderbilt (5-24)
.179 2010 Georgia (5-23)
.182 1983 Auburn (4-18)
.190 1979 Alabama (4-17)

Agree with this. It’s why the SEC and ACC dominate the sport. Baseball is a huge draw in the Sun belt.

I actually agree as NCAA is the highest level all except olympians achieve. However, with NIL and the previously mentioned investment in college baseball at numerous universities, baseball is becoming a college sport rapidly.
