Why would the seahawks say that out loud?

I actually would take him over an entitled Sanders any day. He kept Bama in the game against Michigan a little over a year ago and who can forget the pass against Auburn and Hugh Freeze that same season. Pretty sure Sanders never fought those battles. He didn’t win a title for Bama. Ok that’s life. But he has done more at Bama than Hurts did. And Hurts just won the Super Bowl.

Are you high? Hurts got Bama to the playoffs twice and came within one second of winning the NC as the starting QB.

Because no moron would believe any team had him as their number 1 QB. He's not gonna tell a blatant lie and ruin his credibility. Why did Dildoe lie?

Why would Milroe say something like that out loud? Seattle didn’t seem to appreciate him saying it or getting caught off guard by having to address it with media right after drafting him.

They want their 3rd round backup project QB coming in humble and not thinking he was brought in to compete with Darnold right away.

Then they completely misjudged the situation. Jalen has already tweeted out "Belt to azz." I don't think he's going to be intimidated by Darnold, nor should he. He's in a great place to get his feet wet and watch Sam Darnold try to duplicate something he has failed at many times elsewhere. I like his positioning a lot.

I am willing to bet you were one of those fans complaining about Hurts, he’s is a RB playing QB and he can’t pass the ball. Now after what he has done in the NFL, all of you hypocrites are exposed!

He’s the reason why they lost the game against Michigan and his awful play against auburn is why it came down to a miracle pass.

The absolute worst scenario for Milroe would be him needing to start this season at any point. He is not remotely close to ready to read NFL defenses or play with the accuracy and touch required. I agree this is a great situation for him in Seattle with a starter already in place but not so entrenched he has no chance to ever replace him.

Practice hard, spend more time in film than anyone on the team, and try to beat Darnold next year or maybe late this season if Darnold is awful. But shut up with all this belt to arse and being graded as the top QB in the draft.

His last college game looked like DeBoer threw the 4th string HB in at QB.

Because they were directly asked about it. A better question is why would Milroe lie about it. That guy has issues.

It’s going to take elite QB development, investment in running a system that plays to his strengths while avoiding his weaknesses, tons of work from Milroe and giving him a high level OL like Hurts has in Philly for it to work.

If you think you’re just plugging Milroe into a standard NFL scheme you are going to have a trainwreck on your hands.

His upside is Hurts or Jackson, but his current reality is not even at an NFL backup level.
