It can be any sport.

For me...it was the 2000 Alabama-Vanderbilt game. I was 13 years old and the team was just coming off that disappointing 35-24 loss out in Pasadena against UCLA.

We struggled in this game but eventually prevailed 28-10. One of our three wins from that year.

My dad and I were in the end zone where the series of the game took place: a passionate goal line stand by the Tide defense in the third quarter beginning at the 10:40 mark of the above video. A fun experience from an otherwise shitty year of Crimson Tide football.

1996 vs Ole Miss with my dad. We’d come the year before to watch Kentucky with Tim Couch but didn’t get tickets and wound up watching at the Bryant Museum.

I was at that one. ESPN even cut to me in the stands with a disgusted look on my face.

93 gator bowl. I was expecting to see uf play and asked for tickets as a Christmas present. Parents bought said tickets before the sec championship game, and i got stuck going to see bama play. It's how my non bama fan dad took me to my first bama game 5 years later I'd be signing at bama, because uf made a coaching change i absolutely couldn't get on board with. Weird how shite worked out.

I vaguely remember it being 1993. Maybe against Tulane? The only thing I remember about the game was that we returned a fumbled kickoff for a touchdown? Or we just recovered a fumbled kickoff? Hell I was only 7 at the time. I remember it being in Birmingham and the field was turf

I believe it was the '83 Mississippi State game. My father had died earlier in the year and his brother took me, along with his family.

I believe it was Temple circa 1991 - Danny Woodson took one to house from about 90 yards and Bama won big. It was in Legion Field and I was about 10 years old. Do not remember my first game in BDS but it was sometime that same season.

Alabama vs South Carolina 2004. I got to see Marc Guillon and Spencer Pennington light it up for a total of 4 combined INTs. We got beat 20-3.

It was in 1961 saw several of those games- Natl Champ team. Was 10 yrs old
Pat Trammel, LeRoy and that bunch .

Was in Grant field in Atlanta to see us lose to Ga Tech in the rain in 62. Could not believe we lost. We were down by one late in the game and Joe Namath was driving us down to about the Tech 25. Bryant took Namath out and put Jack Hulbert in for one play. He threw an interception. Couldnt believe it.
And we had a good field goal kicker--Tim Davis

1978 Nebraska vs Bama at Legion Field. Things i remember most about that experience. We sat 33 rows above the nebraska cheerleaders, i was 15 years old, missed most of the game, lol, oh the good ol days. The artificial turf glowed under the lights. Bear Bryant leaning against the goalpost.

p.s. I was on crutches going up n down those steps.

1995 vs Tennessee

ESPN College GameDay in its infancy was there at Legion Field.

It was 14-0 nothing before my butt got to my seat. Miserable game. @!#@*! Peyton Manning.

1999 Alabama vs Arkansas

Alabama's rise from the ashes after the Louisiana Tech game. No one believed me when I said Alabama was going to beat Arkansas, far fewer believed me against Florida in the Swamp.

Technically the first game was in my mom’s belly in 1990 when Brett Favre an USM beat Stallings.

Favre played for the first time since a July 14 automobile accident and Aug. 8 intestinal surgery.

I was born later that fall and the first game was the Iron Bowl 1990.
