On my daily commute to and from work, I pass over Mulberry Creek where he first learned to fish as a kid. I don’t see much fish there anymore but love to trout fish below Tim’s Ford dam.

Hell I hope so.....just makes the legend that much better. Gus McCall said "if a man don't want a poke bad enough to cheat he doesn't want a poke bad enough"

The ones where he closes the tailgate on his fishing rods is greatness.

The Elk is an awesome river to float and trout fish.

It's not too crowded and plenty of trout. Wish there was a little more access though.

My favorite is when he was putting the trolling motor battery in the boat and his buddy was already gone.

Ah yes.....the Dance's Eel.

I never fell for that piece of crap. Bit then again, I didn't use Stike King's products at all really anyway.

I always heard that he would hide fish on a stringer and then go grab them late in the day.

I think it was originally called the Danc'n Eel, but they eventually renamed it just in case some people didn't know it was associated with Bill Dance. Anyway, it sucked.

Try the correct quote “ A man who wouldn't cheat for a poke don't want one bad enough.”

He reminds me so much of my Uncle Bob. World will be a little less fun when they both go.
