Probably their best pro prospect likely out for rest of regular season. Max Belyeu suffered a fractured thumb this past weekend.

How’d we lose three of our best hitters in one weekend? Something about playing in Colombia always results in season-ending injuries for Longhorn athletes.

Dove for a ball late in the game Friday night and left hand got caught under him on the turf. I think we were up 15-0 too. Should have let it drop.

Worst part about that injury..
We were up 15-4 in the 7th inning when he dove for that ball.
He was arguably our best hitter and won Big 12 POY last year. Hopefully Winfield or a freshman can step up, but this is gonna hurt pretty bad.
