Figured since we have a non-Alabama college football thread we should have a basketball thread to serve the same purpose until March Madness is over.

In that vein I didn't see Uconn keeping up with Fl.

I didn’t see UConn hanging with them either. I think eventually Florida will wear them down with pressure and consistency. Any team can fall to anyone in this tournament setup. Any team can have an off day.

Why does it seem (lol) Duke gets all the refs on their side?

Dan Hurley is such a douche bag. Guy never has a problem with the refs unless his team loses. Then to react like this when his team gets all the calls

That’s a whole lot of chalk other than Arky and two 6 seeds. CSU almost had it though, and some would argue should have if traveling was still called.

Arkansas State's Bryan Hodgson has emerged as the top target at UNLV and a deal is expected to come together, a source tells @On3sports.

The former Alabama assistant is 45-28 in his two seasons at Arkansas State. Won the regular season Sun Belt title.

Would we be interested in bringing Pringle back?

Maybe? He seemed to be at odds with the staff about something that led to him being suspended due to team rules several times.

That’s a weird move. His name was already being thrown for some P5 jobs, why jump to another 1-bid league?

A PF type that isn't a shooter? Unlikely.

USF is about to start flinging NIL money around.

He’s a center.

I put "type" in there because I kew someone would say this. He's really not a center, unless you want to play really small and get dominated by true centers.

He's 3"+ from being a center. And his basketball IQ isn't the greatest. There's a reason Nelson had to play center so often.

And he has zero touch on his shot, so you can't even go 5 wide while being undersized. He was meant to be a backup big. If he's cool with 10 minutes a game, I'd be cool with using one of now 15 scholarships slots. But I think he wants to play. Can't bring someone in who isn't thrilled about a limited role. It'll only hurt overall chemistry.
