After watching that game yesterday, or about 10 minutes of the first half before I decided to spend my time more wisely, we don't deserve to be in the tournament. Georgia destroying Texas at home makes both our wins against Texas look way worse as well. If we somehow miracle win these last two I'd say maybe we should be an 11 seed playin at best, but no way that happens without Thiero. I think we'll be lucky to win 1 in the SEC tourney. This team is just hard to watch and I really don't care about them anymore. Hog sports 2024-25 has been fricking terrible once again.

Legs were shot. I went to the Texas game and was still tired from it, and I didn’t have to play the game. 8pm games are bullshite. Especially affected us with 7 man lineup and the early time slot in the Easter time zone

I’ve decided to become much more passive with the piglets. They’re a waste of time and energy in the big 3, IMO. Nothing but disappointment or heartbreak every damned time.

Well, life as a Hog fan is tough. I won’t say it doesn’t come with sweetness sometimes though when one looks at the big picture. Sometimes I feel like they live and die by the pendulum. But that IS the case for most schools if they’re even that lucky. I am trying to have less vitriol though. I think the more time passes, the better I’ll get with my expectations compared to just enjoying and being thankful for all of the great and good experiences - which do exist.

Football is a lost cause. We don't have the money to compete in the era of NIL against bigger states with more fans and millionaire/billionaire donors. We are closer financially to a Mississippi State than a Ohio State.
Revenue sharing is supposed to kick in later this year and that is supposed to help. But the problem with that is a rising tide lifts all boats including the competition. So I'm not seeing where it gives Arkansas an edge.
Arkansas has a much better chance of competing at a high level in basketball and baseball because it doesn't cost as much and people don't care about it as much as football. So the arms race isn't as competitive and Arkansas should continue pumping money into these two sports.
