I know he’s gone and I will be accused of stirring up old caca but this … I can’t not toss this out for discussion … Lord have mercy …

I didn’t make this up, I promise

Would Cleveland taking Milroe not be the absolute ultimate Browns move?

I don't think Jeudy would be a fan of that move

This will probably turn out like Malik Willis a few years back who kept being mocked as a top 10 even top 5 pick only to fall to like the 3rd round. Milroe will probably be a 2-3rd round pick too

I have said I could see some team taking a chance on Milroe earlier than most of us here probably think he will go, maybe even late first round.

Second overall is insane.

A mobile quarterback is the key now in today's NFL.
And he's pretty rugged.
2 pluses that do translate to the next level.

I'm having difficulty coming up with a 3rd plus, though.

Can someone, anyone explain how you watch the Bama game against Michigan, and then the Ole Miss game and logically explain how you take Milroe over Jackson Dart? For the life of me I cant understand it.

If that happens AND he’s successful it might break me as a fan

He's going to create a job opening for front office positions in an NFL franchise in 3-4 years.

If he pulls it off I will be very happy for him.

But from what I've seen the man simply doesn't have the unquantifiable mental and physical "feel" for the quarterback position that even Hurts IMO showed before he got it together as far as throwing, that even Blake Sims who wasn't a natural at the position showed a bit of.

Maybe something will click. Stranger things have happened.

I wouldn’t pay attention to any mocks until the combine finishes. All these are are advertising clickbait articles

Point taken, but the reason I shared this is that Treposso is not some dweeb sitting in his underwear eating pizza rolls in his mama's basement tweeting or posting on Instagram and TikTok. He's CBS Sports' main NFL draft and young player analyst and used to be an actual NFL beat writer for an actual newspaper.

Of course that doesn't mean he's immune from momentary insanity ...

I think Trepasso was the first on Daniel Jones to the Giants in 2019 and I thought he was nuts. This may be a bridge too far but you are right, he definitely isn't a hack.

His ceiling is Anthony Richardson/Justin Fields. The floor is sickeningly low.
I would LMAO if Haslam does that, though.
