Why was the NFL allowed to have games competing with the CFB playoff yesterday?

Historically the the NFL and NCAA have done a good job of not stepping on each other's toes

The NFL and it's owner's have benefited greatly over their free minor-league system

If there's a college football revenue sharing discussion to be had, it needs to start with the NFL

The NFL likes to flex because they can. They’re also taking back over Christmas Day from the nba

Because they can. And people will watch .

Because the NFL was reasonable back when we had sensible bowls and playoffs, but now with this 12 team overkill bullshite, the NFL has said eff y'all, and eff ESPN.

They typically don't show NFL games on TruTV so there was no competition.

Smart move from the nfl to pick off football hungry fans who were bored and turned off those terrible bullshite first round games at half time

That Chiefs vs Texans game was thousands of times better than any of the CFP games so far.

Thankful I had the option of seeing a better product.

We use to regularly have good Thursday night games in college football but then the NFL said "mine" so we no longer get them. That's what happens when you give someone a legal monopoly.

Apparently the reason why the two games that weren't on ESPN weren't on ESPN, even though they used all of ESPN's stuff, was because ESPN didn't want to do anything to greatly anger the NFL.

This too.

There is nothing exciting about CFB now.

I remember around 2007-2013 being excited during the week starting from Wed on about getting to watch some games.

Even for the Thur and Fri night teams, there was some great talent and great coaching.

That's all gone to shite now.

That’s why we should allow sec rivalry week to spill into Sunday.

Allow the nine rivalry games to be spread around over 4 days.

Watched chiefs and flipped over during commercials. Even 3 win NE vs Bills today was more competitive, entertaining than CFP yesterday.

You'd have preferred the Gasparilla Bowl to be the headline college football game from this past weekendto

If those 4 teams didn’t play yesterday they wouldnt have any games on Christmas. Same 4 teams play Christmas Day.
