Tua Tagovailoa (2018-19)
Jalen Hurts (2016-17)
Jacob Coker (2015)
Blake Sims (2014)
A.J. McCarron (2011-13)
Greg McElroy (2009-10)

How low will our fanbase rank Milroe?

The lowest on that list. Pennington wasn’t very physically gifted as a quarterback but at least has guts and would’ve made the tackle against Oklahoma.

He’s one of many that’s won a sec championship

He was also dealing with an injury plagued offense (not a roster of five stars) that had zero depth due to sanctions.
Imagine Milroe under center for that 2004 team. We would have broken the kind of records no one wants to break...

Trying to be totally objective and not a subjective fan pissed off about recent events, bottom quarter to third. I probably wouldn’t put him at the very bottom. That could change after tomorrow.

That’s a good top 7 … I might put Mac above Hurts.

I loved how Coker played in 2015. Very underrated. Tough as nails, too.

I rank AJ at the top, not because he was better than Tua or Bryce, but because he was THE QB of the dynasty. He was the most “Saban” of our QBs if that makes sense. His career is best exemplified by him getting spanked by Saban and then having Saban jump into his arms a couple years later.

This is really hard. I think AJ should be in the conversation for 1 with what he accomplished and I loved Andrew Zow so I might be misremembering. Also, Jalen Hurts might not be high on my list but he’s the only one I would ok with my son looking up to.

If there is one play that encapsulates his season in 2015 it would have to be this one:

Ask LSU fans how to rank Milroe
Posted on 11/29/24 at 6:06 pm to RollTide1987
End of the season 2015 Coker had reached AJ level.
Put that Coker on the 2016 team and Alabama beats everyone by 30 plus points.

Do you not see Brodie on the list? Probably the best person on there

Milroe the "mobile QB" would have curled up and taken that first sack.

I would rank Milroe seventh behind Tua, Bryce, Mac, AJ, Blake Sims, and Coker. Hurts was super young and not that good while he was here and the others were extremely limited.
