Why did Auburn rush the field after beating A&M?

It's not like A&M has been a powerhouse in football. Rushing the field because they beat an historically mediocre program. And they already had two losses so it isn't like they beat the number 1 team. Just seems way over the top for this win.

It’s just what kids do now. Unless stadiums start raising up nets or something it’s only going to continue to happen.

This I think is the answer. I’m telling you someone is going to get hurt badly one day. I get I’m the old get off my lawn guy but it does need to be stopped somehow.

OP, if you want to know the truth, auburn rushed the field more from Bama losing than their own team winning. This is because auburn only exists to try and destroy Bama, And they hate knowing this about themselves.

- There definitely seems to be a bigger trend of it lately - no idea as to why that is
- Despite it being against A&M/merely #15/not a big game, it felt organic in a sense. Auburn's misery all year, failure to break through in closer games, the game was long, it was dramatic, etc. Just a lot of pent up emotions for AU people I guess.
I still don't like it/get it, but whatever

People are gonna get trampled one day and a university will get sued big time by the families. There's a reason the SEC/NCAA has rules against it.
