Imagine your entire identity is consumed with cheering for the football team of a school you never attended. And that team no longer wins titles or is special in any way.

We also have an undefeated national champion team. Who else can say that? Just imagine being a fan of a team like say, Ole miss. You know in your heart of hearts you'll never reach the pinnacle.

Alabama in 2020 put up a better season than LSU in 2019.
LSU fans have to pretend as if the season wasn't even real as a means to cope.

Since 2019? LSU, Georgia, Alabama, and Michigan all went undefeated and won a national championship during the last 5 years.
