Thread on the rant saying LSU still has a shot if they win out. How is that possible?

They win the tiebreaker with 4-5 teams tied at 6-2.. play with the games below, but the Arkansas vs Missouri game is important

Texas and A&M control their own destiny.

Legit not sure who else can say that.

Just think Deion Sanders and 2 loss Big 12 Colorado control their own destiny to make the playoff but a 2 loss Bama, Georgia, Ole Miss and Mizzu don't fully control theirs.

Hoping for the UT vs UT SEC championship game...

Lots of great story lines and the level of angst on the Rant from this would be amazing...

I wouldn't mind that game either and it means GA was eliminated from consideration.

One of the Texas schools versus Alabama, if Georgia drills UT or if Vandy pops the Viles (both a distinct possibility). It Tennessee wins out, they will play Texas or A&M and will deserve to be there.

Well, frick. Looks like ATL for Bama if they win out (assuming a UTk loss to Uga).

Was really hoping they'd get a break, and a home game first round.

Really need to rebook the conf title games. It's just a chance to pickup injuries or lose a 2nd playoff team. Occasionally, it could be a backdoor into the playoffs, but that is more among the shite conferences

I'm suddenly a Tennessee fan. I don't want to play in the SECCG and get knocked out of the PO if we lose or maybe have some of our starters hurt. I'd rather play some soft Big12 or ACC team at home instead of getting a first round bye if we win.

I do not want any part of the SEC championship game. I want the playoffs. We should do away with that game and just cast lots for a regular season champion.

Arkansas vs Missouri game is important

So is the Tennessee vs. UGA game

These two outcomes have a huge ripple effect based on the SEC calculator posted, and shake up all the rankings. Texas vs. aTm, and LSU vs. Vandy are up there in importance as well when it comes to how it shakes out for the top half of the conference

It was. But, current format of an expanded playoff has a net loss to competitive conferences
