If Vandy is still sneaking up on teams, it is their own fault at this point.

After Vandy's GA St loss and Bama's win vs UGA, Bama absolutely slept on them to their own peril. They couldn't do anything but lose emotional control and all discipline on the field. But, no one should be looking past them at this point. Beamer will be ready to go.

Vandy is like us (Carolina) very underrated but nobody wants to play. I know there’s no way Carolina is overlooking Vandy. Both teams can play with anyone. This game is a coin toss.

If you look at Vandy as a letdown game, you will get beat.

No shame in losing to a ranked team like Vandy. But I think South Carolina could pull off the upset in back to back weeks if they play clean and limit Vandy's stud QB.

Soooooo....

I guess Vandy's letdown game was against Texas after a tough Ball State game???

Let's hope they have another one after this big Auburn win

I was worried about this game before, but now that the Vandy Pimp is showing up in Nashville this weekend, I'm scared to death.

Vandy is the definition of “intangibles”. They’ve got a few pieces, but mostly, they have a quarterback and a coach that the fellow players believe in. In a tight game, they’re going to make plays in the clutch when they need them most and they will win more times than not. I admire that and wish we had it at Auburn.

Vandy absolutely is greater than the sum of their parts. All credit to Lea and Kill.

I've watched them a good bit this year. I would like to think that SC has the defensive depth to limit Pavia and generate negative plays.

But there's no chance in hell I'm expecting a victory. Gonna be a brawl.

How many points each team is from being undefeated in conference:

Vandy - 6 points (two 3-point losses to Texas and Missouri)

USCe - 29 points (2-point loss to Bama, 3-point loss to LSU, 24-point loss to Ole Miss)

at what point are Carolina's wins no longer upsets? I mean lets assume Carolina wins out (vandy, mizz, wofford, Clemson), then we will have one bad game vs Ole miss, and 2 close losses to Bama/LSU. Id say that merits top 15 in the country

How would it be an upset when SC is a -3 fav on the road?

It's a sucker's bet. It'll be -4 to -5 by kickoff and SC will cover.

The SEC has fallen mightily if the best team in the conference has a loss to Georgia State on their record, and another two losses on top of that to boot.

We need a special font just for sarcasm. This is one of the best looking games this week, one I'm more hyped for than Georgia/Ole Miss.
