Kinda suprising considering all the blind love for Sarkisian. No surpise to most Aggies.

Sark is 100% unproven as a legit coach in the SEC. Had ONE single good season...thanks Big 12.

1) Elko now has AS MANY Top 10 wins as Sark has had in his tenure at Texas (46 games).

2) Elko is 2-1 against Top 10 teams while Sark is 2-5.

How many seasons will it take Elko to surpass Sark? Or maybe we should talk about how many games instead.

Like Sark a lot as a person and some of his leadership style. But sorry, he is not going to pan out in the long run. BUT he can extend his tenure by giving up OC duties and making the right pick at OC. This occurs end of next season BTW.

You’re not wrong but let’s see how the head to head goes.

Disagree. I think Sark will be sucessful. Will he surplant Kirby or saban? Of course not but that doesn't mean he can't be a successful head coach in this conference.
Instead of bickering about who has the better Coach we should just both be happy we may have finally found our guy after a long dry spell.

Thank you, I’ve call Chris Del Conte and told him that he must fire Sark immediately .

Year 3 is the metric. Sark looks fine.

TickleMe is still 2 years out.

How many coaches have come onboard and done better their 1st year? Dozens. They trend down as their own system and players take root. Elko is not bright enough to do anything but trend down.

Unlike aggy we don't do head coach worship. They're an employee hired to do a job, and if they don't do it well they're sent packing.

This is so on brand for aggy, one big win and the Elk is like the love child of Bear Bryant and Jackie Sherrill.

Elko is a good coach and walked into a great talent situation devoid of prior good coaching.

Sark has done very well at UTx. They had talent, as well, but it was a complete shitshow. All he did was beat Saban in BDS, win the conference, and make a 4 team playoff. Then, he followed it up with a great showing through OCT with a win in the Big House (even if UM has dropped off) and a loss to the best team in the country over the last 3 years. He seems to be doing pretty well with a team that has been pretty shite since 2009.

I'd take Sark over Elko. But, yes, UTx has a shorter leash based on expectations.

Here are the Aggies trying to say something about the Sport of Football. In any matrix of Choosing Football Champions like Polls, BCS , Playoffs , they have yet to even QUALIFY . How have the rest of the SEC fans put up with this nonsense for 12 long years.
Maybe if they qualify this year they will become normal but don't count on it.
