re: If DeBoer went nuclear on this team to change the culture now, would you support it?

I don’t understand why so many people blame the players for the culture. These are 18-22 year olds making a lot of money and being told how great they are. It’s the coach’s job to instill discipline in these guys. CKD is the problem with the team’s culture. This is a soft, undisciplined football team because that’s the culture CKD created here. CKD is the one who created the culture problem within this program.

Because they are the problem that KD has inherited. Have you noticed that every name tossed around in this thread are all guys that have been here 3-4 years?

I’ll ask you the question I asked the last person yapping about “softness.” Tell me how you can be Bryant at Junction or R. Lee Ermey in Full Metal Jacket when you’re coaching millionaires who can leave when they want to?

The only thing a coach can do now is say who plays and who doesn’t play. That’s where DeBoer needs to step up.

He created the same toxic culture that plagued Saban's last few seasons?

Amazing he had so much influence over the Tide program when he was at Washington...

There have been cultural issues within the program for years. You have a short memory if you think any of the things we're talking about haven't been going on since at least 2022. Saban himself talked about the cultural issues openly.

So basically you are saying that players that were "discipline" under Saban have reverted to being undisciplined because they werent nannied correctly? Sounds more that you are a soft man who is lashing out because his favorite team lost and his ego was bruised. You apply absolutely zero logic to your criticisms.
