And you got completely humiliated for the entire game
You needed to play a close game or at least look competitive in some facets of the game to get the respect that you think you are due
Your OL was hot garbage and you told everybody it was the best in the nation, your quarterback play was way below average and you told everybody your starter and your back up were the best two quarterbacks in the nation, and your defense was just slightly above average giving up 30 points to Georgia, who has not been an offensive juggernaut this year, but is not a scrub either, just a very good solid talented team
You talked never-ending trash about how great you were and you got completely humiliated from start to finish
This is why we are all laughing at you, no other reason, not because you lost, but because you got humiliated

They had 2 good drives all day that ended in 10 points. Our defense played good enough to win. Our QB's had a bad game. The OL actually played pretty good on rewatch. The RB's need to get better helping out on blitzes and QE needs to step up in the pocket as he is trained to do.
There were open receivers all day.. but neither QB could find them. Sure, Georgia and Kirby get some credit for that.. but some of that falls on the QB's too, primarily Ewers.

Georgia's offense, Beck and the receivers played about as bad as they can play, and Georgia still humiliated you.

Bad punt.
GA - 7 plays - 13 yards - FG 10-0
QE Interception.
GA - 3 plays - 34 yards - Touchdown 17-0
Bad punt.
GA - 7 plays - 25 yards - Field Goal 20-0
Arch fumble.

25 plays for 89 yards gave Georgia 23 points
That was the halftime score. Our offense shite the bed in the 1st half. 100% Our defense still gave us a chance to only be down 8 in the 3rd quarter.
Georgia had one good drive that led to the other 7 points.
If we get our punter back and fix the turnovers, and yes, those 2 things are easily fixed.. it's likely a different game. That doesn't mean we would win.. maybe Georgia blows us out because they find another weakness.. but it wouldn't have gone the way it went.
TLDR: Our offense shite the bed in the 1st half. Our defense played pretty damn good all things considered.

No, I think that's a valid point as well.
23 Georgia points and 15 Texas points came on a short field.
Georgia had 1 good drive. Texas had none.
Our offense shite the bed.
1st Quarter
Wisner drops an easy catch that at least puts us in field goal range.
Quinn has 3 turnovers
Arch has 1 turnover
We gave up 7 sacks.
It was ugly across the board.
I think some of that falls on Sark, some of that falls on the QB's, some of that falls on the RB's. The TE and WR seemed to play a decent game. I thought our OL was getting worked the whole game, but I don't think so on rewatch. They made some mistakes no doubt.. but all in all they handled the pressure pretty good. If Ewers steps up and throws off his front foot.. perhaps that changes a lot. Then again, he would have taken some hits and by the looks of it, he doesn't want any part of that.
I only responded because you made it sound like our defense was just average.. and imo, that isn't the case. It wasn't as good as Georgia's defense though.. they outplayed us.

We can 100% lose to Vanderbilt on Saturday. I may even put some money on the ML just to ease my pain if it happens.
Ewers in his current form is a liability. I don't know what's wrong with him..
1) He is hurt
2) He is scared of getting reinjured
3) He has developed the yips
4) Some combination of the first 3
Either way, that isn't easily fixable unless he is hurt and Sark benches him for 2 weeks to try and heal. We are on a bye next week.
