That clear holding on the long pass play by Texas from their endzone. SMH, the defender nearly deshirted the UGA player and it was easy to see.

Was it really? Take another look at it and see how the defender redirected the receiver.
Enough with the "it was a bad call". Don't give any ground to the bad officiating. They fricked up and made it worse. Then those phantom targeting calls.
the other calls that followed were horrendous, but I don't think there was PI on that particular play. However, to throw the flag, then meet, make the call....then change your mind 5 minutes later without replay (wink wink), yeah that was bush league

I liked to take the time to remind everyone that Tyler Simmons is still on sides. So Texas stop being soft!!!

I have seen several say the play wasn't PI, but the Texas player blocked the Georgia player while already facing the QB. Once he stopped and redirected the UGA player, it was easy for him to see the ball and the rest is history.
If it wasn't PI, then nothing is PI short of tackling the receiver.
I don't think its PI but a lot less is called every Saturday.
The delay of game should have been penalized. Texas would have had the ball at the 12 or 13 or so instead of the 7 or 8. The way UGAs defense was playing and the lack of offense on Texas part that 5 yards makes Texas final score of the game far less certain. The TD after the interception required UGA to go for a TD on 4th and goal from the 1 in order to maintain a 2 score lead. They fricked up the PI call, did an incredibly shitty job of correcting that (at best they did a shitty job correcting it, there may be more to the correction than anyone will ever know) and then they compounded it by not flagging UT for delay of game which in turn meant UGA gambled on 4th and goal instead of kicking the FG.
Bad PI calls happen numerous times in numerous games every week. It'd been nice if that wasn't so but it is. There is zero excuse for not flagging UT for a delay of game after their fans threw a temper tantrum. Missing those sorts of calls is unusual because that type of behavior is unusual. It will not be going forward....there is not a fan base in CFB who would not act the same or worse if it meant their team got a call at an opportune moment. It is entirely within the rules of the game that there could have been multiple penalties over the temper tantrum.

If the SEC had Refs that knew their shite, none of this would have happened .
Try hiring competent people not Hillbillys.

So infuriating. After years of complaining that our students don't show well for games they finally do and act like Arkansas fans. I guess I should be happy it wasn't batteries or piss like hog fans but it still pisses me off.
What in the actual frick are you talking about? Arkansas fans don't do this dumbass.
Your arrogant fan base is one of the worst fan bases in the country.

There is no such thing as competent officiating. Please name the conference that has that.
You can only hope for the lesser of all evils, and the SEC has a long way to go to achieve that. It seems they don’t really want to, so strap in.

Pretty crazy that with all the redneck fans that have graced SEC football stadiums over the past 125 years, Texas has invented a novel form of mob temper tantrum in its first prime time appearance. The university is setting a new standard for trashiness and narcissistic entitlement.

The Etienne first down was more than obvious. The ref in the middle of the field made a signal to move the chains.
If Sankey continues to ignore this crap he needs to be sent packing.

Worst SEC addition we’ve had, maybe in the history of the SEC.
Before you say Missouri, they aren’t the worst because no one cares enough about them.

Oh dude come on. The process was horrible, I think everyone can agree but there was no editing involved lol. It wasn’t a penalty

I mean the head ref is a Texan. So I would agree with you that he shouldn’t be hired.

After the game, Arian stated that the DB grabbed his jersey.
Kirby was right, it should have been a holding call, but in any case, the ref was justified in throwing a flag.
