Almost identical resumes:

Beating up on bad teams
Win against South Carolina
One score loss to a mediocre power conference team (USC and UK)

An overtime win at home should be worth 5 spots. But 10??

LSU has played a tougher schedule and didn't lose at home.

Also, you have 2 losses.

Kentucky loss looms larger than you’re giving it credit for.

They aren’t. However, being on a bye rarely helps especially if your last game is a loss

Win out and you're in, don't sweat it

There are 9 teams better than Ole Miss and worse than LSU?

Recency bias too - always been a thing in the polls

I agree that is why, but it is dumb because USC has 4 losses already so that loss should count just as much

You have 2 conference losses. We have 0.

Math is hard. You’re welcome.

1 < 2.

Wait, has Ole Miss introduced the less than symbol in your advanced math curriculum?

0% chance of winning out, but I agree. I’m not sweating it, just seemed like a good Sunday afternoon discussion topic

Some of yall can’t read. I know why LSU is ranked higher. Just think they are getting too much of a boost. I would have them in the 11-13 range

Ole Miss is the second highest ranked 2 loss team, behind Alabama.

That seems about right. Bama has a much better win and lost both games on the road.

They should probably be ranked more than 10 spots better.

Ole Miss played scrubs out of conference. Ole Miss has played 3 teams with a pulse (Kentucky might not have one) and is 1/3 out of those games.

LSU lost their 1st game and has won every game since then.

Math can be hard for many people. 1 loss is better than 2 losses
