Some ref suspensions are merited from last night's debacle. Sankey needs to wipe the horn jizz from his chin. That was disgusting.

So officials can’t meet discuss and change a ruling?

After they spot the ball for play, wind the clock and both teams are lined up to play??

Time called when the trash rained down and refs called a break and then they discussed the prior play??

Shoulda huddled and picked up the flag immediately after the play, woulda had no prob with this...

Not only that but watch Carson take it to the goal line. That ball is an inch or two from the end zone, ref steps out to the 1.5 yard line to spot it. Just horrible

They can and that’s exactly what happened. It’s a non-reviewable play in the sense they can’t look at video, but they can discuss and change. The optics though are horrible because of the trash throwing.

And it probably did influence their decision which isn’t right.

And I dont get how they didn’t call an unsportsmanlike penalty vs Texas bc of the fans.

I thought the first targeting call was legit, the second, meh, let them play football.

Texas got called for several holding penalties including a long run back on special teams.

Agree that Texas student section has a lot of entitled whiny children. Ok to boo but not throw crap on field.

If your fan base is the only one in the country that thinks the refs weren’t helping you then you need more self awareness

There it is

They have no self awareness

Let it be known that Texas lost against the first legit SEC game they’ve played since joining the conference

Turns out the SEC isn’t so easy after all, I suppose.

New kid on the block I get it. Hopefully your university is fined for the crap fest throwing objects onto the field or it could get really ugly for the cows as they play in other SEC stadiums. Hope to God we hv more civility.

Much like HS players need to be brought down to earth once they arrive on campus after years of being told what beautiful, unique snowflakes they are during the recruitment process, Tesas needs to be "de-cruited" to be reminded that they're swimming in a bigger pond now.

Last night was the first step on this process.

UGA being called for targeting on every remotely violent hit

Their patron saint McConaughey specifically called for violence. It's not our fault the Dawgs delivered.

Texas already got fined for their trash student section throwing a tantrum and disrupting the game.

The other thing is, they saw the replay on the screen during the trashing of the field. They wouldn’t have changed it with out that.

And had an illegal pick to get the WR open on the scoring play after the BS reversal. Would have been called 10 out of 10 times, except by that crew.

Friend, this isn't the rule. The rule is where the ball crossed the boundary not where it is when he lands.

I called that BS out in our game thread. We’ve been flagged 3 fricking times for the EXACT same shite this year.
