No wonder he throws a lot of INTs.

ya know, i gotta say, i believe him, he definitely would have thrown that pick 10 out of 10 times. that's why he's my goat. we need to get him another year of eligibility imo.

I hope this means he's not starting against Georgia

I thought he made the right read. OU disguised the fake blitz well and dropped the LB into the perfect spot.

What the frick Thorne 10/10 times

He even admitted he thought about checking to the three WR side but stuck with the play! As Aaron Murray says, TAKE THE COMPLETION. The bubble was wide open if he checks to it, but instead he threw it into traffic.

even worse was that he said it was the game plan all along

Freeze's tendencies are way to obvious on 3rd and short, under pressure in a close game

I may be in the minority, but I don’t fault him for that one. It was a great disguise/execution by OU. He made 3 bad decisions that I could see- throwing over the middle at end of half & two RPO’s that should’ve been runs given the situation. Other than that, dude played a very good game. He, #5 & Hunter are their only consistent offensive weapons.

I agree with you mostly. He did play a great game. A few bad throws. And yes the defensive play call was perfect. But as a 5th year senior, you just CANT make that throw. You just can’t. It should have been a run anyway, but it wasn’t and he shouldn’t have thrown that.

Did you see option #2 vs decent competition? Should've held onto Ashford

Someone start a thread about that. They seem to like the attention.

The defender engaged at the line and was actually thrown back into the passing lane. Otherwise, it was all but a guaranteed first down and game clinching throw.

Now, if you want to talk about being in plus territory, up by 11, with an All-SEC back vs a gassed defense, I completely agree on you CAN'T make those two RPO decisions. That's on him and Freeze.

BTW, I'm one of the observers who thinks Auburn fans need to give Freeze four years if they truly believe in his "build via HS" vision. Next year's going to be another patch job given all the production they're losing. But, he's now had two golden opportunities to slam the door and pick up a signature win. He's blown both and hasn't handled the fallout from either well. That makes his climb way steeper than it should've been.

I agree with all of this.

It's good to see Freeze is teaching them personal responsibility and how to learn from their mistakes.

It should be no surprise given the way he leads by example.
