OU needs a confidence builder. A slump-buster, if you will.

Our game with Allbarn comes at just the right time.

You may be whistling past the graveyard. If not, you should know that the voodoo at VooDoo Hare has no rhyme or reason as to when it shows itself.

When the curse of the Creek Indians that control the outcomes at Jordan-Hare meet the flagship school of the former Indian Territory that stole and reduced an already displaced native population's land after OK became a state, I'd be surprised if the old Cheif doesn't affect the outcome.

Good luck! Don't tempt the fates.

Disappointed in Freeze. I figured him to get Auburn back as a contender in the SEC. It i not happening at least so far. 16 teams and they all expect to be at the top of the mountain well maybe not Vandy. So this is King on the mountain on steroids. SEC loaded with the top teams and they all can not be numero uno.

OU fans will soon learn…

I believe this will be one of the best games of the weekend. Jordan Hare always a tough place to play. Both offenses are bad and both defenses can create turnovers. I’ve got Auburn pulling this one out 20-17.

The Creeks from a village about 4 miles from Jordan-Hare lived in a village called Loach-a-poka-tulsi. They moved west and founded a new village on the banks of the Arkansas river to which they applied the same name. That name was shortened, over time, to Tulsa.

The Creeks

The expression "good Lord willing and the Creeks don't rise" is a fixture in southern slang, but was literally a reference to the Creek Indians, not flooding.

Year 2 of major rebuild. Extremely young team with no proven QB, needless penalties and 10 turnovers in the 2 losses. Regardless of crap said Hugh and Staff accepted the blame for not coaching well.
The difference in Alabama and Auburn is Big Al understands The Process where Auburn idiots expect a quick fix.
Sounds like Oklahoma has already penciled the win.

Venables announced Hawkins to start at QB against Auburn, take OU and give the points before it goes up.

Auburn doesn't have a bad defense. Currently sitting at 34th in scoring defense, which is just below Oklahoma's scoring defense ranking.

On offense, Auburn ranks #27 in total offense while OU sits at 119th.

So if we actually look at the numbers and what both teams have done this season and their opponents, Auburn should have a very good shot at winning this game.
