I know some don't like him, but I always appreciate his honesty. I agree with this assessment wholeheartedly. Our quarterback room is either incredibly bad or too inexperienced, which makes one incredibly bad.
TLDR, prepare to take the lumps this year, and maybe next year without being so much of a crybaby it destroys the recruiting classes.

Hank and Thorne 3/4 their release. Causes to ball to sail and be higher. When they miss, it's an easy INT.

Fans don’t destroy recruiting classes. Results, however, can.

We wouldn’t have to take so many lumps if Freeze would run the ball more. Season stats:

Team Rushing attempts: 114
Team Passing attempts: 116

If we don’t have a viable passer then then easiest way to reduce interceptions is to run the ball 70% of the time for now. Thats 100% on Freeze and why we’ve lost 2 games that were easily winnable.

Freeze has never run the ball to RBU's standards. Get that in your head.

Jarquez would be killing it if he was playing for Ole Miss or Bama rn.

I still think Hank Brown shouldn't have been pulled, he was doing some good things and moving the ball, but had a few freshman mistakes, which WE SHOULD EXPECT. I hope Hank Brown gets the ball back for Oklahoma,

Aaron Murray with it again

Hank is done son. I didn't think he played bad at all, and sometimes he looked promising, but three interceptions are three interceptions.I don't think the Thorne benching felt genuine either. Freeze knew Thorne would be going back out there.

Dont forget Freeze said "no QB is particularly close to Thorne when it comes to decision making."

If you think Thorne is bad...

Run the dang ball. Or throw flats. Go side to side.

Fans continuing to show out in the stands and be loud, regardless of record, is probably one of AU’s greatest recruiting sells.

brings to mind a quote from the distant past, by Tot Bowden - something to the effect of “AU fans would rather go 7-4 running the ball than go 9-2 passing it”

quote was bullshite back then, but turn it around and it seems like Freezus would rather go 4-8 passing the ball than go 8-4 running it

In fairness to him, that first one was probably just a great play by the defender. Turned around right where Hank was throwing. That was A. Murray’s opinion at least.

But, yeah, he showed his floor isn’t notably higher that Thorne’s so I can see why Freeze would go back to him.

Nah, he’s still the best option in the clown car that is the QB room.

Both QBs are bad, in different ways. I would go with Thorne simply because he has better legs.

Amazingly, Jang is right on this one.

Meh, let’s not act like he’s a great runner. But Hank’s arm >>> PT

Cant do that. He got benched and could not rack up garbage TDs.

Those factored into my number.

Take it, enjoy it, cherish it because that’s the best you’ll get. You’ll probably get called a knob gobbler or something equally as crude next time.
