Anyone at their practice last Friday? Any good looks at pitchers or new players?

Per D1 Aaron Fitt: “Good day to catch a @BaseballUGA scrimmage: got a nice look at 2 marquee mound transfers, Alton Davis and JT Quinn. Both were good today, but Davis was electric: 93-96, T97, held velo for multiple innings, good feel for hard, sharp slider, mixed in curve effectively.”

AD looked the part during Georgia’s scrimmage, but he looked good last Fall too. Time will tell.

Anyone watch the FSU games? How are we feeling? Any surprises good or bad?

I spoke to a FSU sport writer who said the consensus around the scouts with the Arnold vs Adams matchup was pretty even. Adams just moved up on most everyone’s board from what he was hearing. Sounds promising knowing we will have a healthy Quick and Banks to add to the rotation.

Heintz looked good.

He has one of the best pitching coaches in the country at UGA.

Would be more electric if he would develop a changeup

It's hard to get excited over fall scrimmage. Last year Camden Hayslip looked like the 2nd coming of Barry Bonds and then come spring he looked like the 2nd coming of Jake from State Farm.

But I am pumped about what this team can do!
