All of them fit better than Mizzou. Seriously, all of them.
FSU is the only one I really think would be a great fit.
Clemson and VA Tech definitely not. WVU maybe. Okie State and Oklahoma both don't fit. And I don't know anything about Texas Tech.

Clemson Yes
FSU More than UF
Va Tech No
West Virginia No
Oklahoma State I guess if OU does
Texas Tech Yes more than UT
I always thought La Tech and was the most SEC of the smaller schools. Small town vibe and good fanbase. Troy would be second.

In The Dark Knight, Alfred tells Bruce Wayne there are men ‘who simply want to see the world burn.” He could have been talking about these two fan bases. They are not a cultural fit anywhere, except with perhaps each other.

How could anyone say Clemson isnt a fit? They check every single box. Not even saying I think they should be in but culturally whats the difference between them and the other SEC schools?

Mizzou as a whole doesn’t know how to act

Clemson, NCSU, VT fit well. FSU fits well too. UNC and UVA less so, OKST and Texas Tech absolutely not. WVU is kind of a wildcard can't really place them but they do have some similarities. Duke and Wake might as well be in the Northeast

North Carolina, Duke, Virginia really don’t fit anything culturally with the SEC except UNC and Virginia are their states flagship. Elitist and snobby.
Miami doesn’t fit anything culturally at all with the SEC.
VT is a really cool environment when they are good.
Clemson is a super large fan base and really great fans. Obviously the USC folks won’t agree.
Wake isn’t bad, just really small.
WVU is just Baton Rouge with mountains and less accomplishments.
You didn’t list NCSU. They fit culturally.

Clemson - yes but state schools are a better fit
FSU - more so than Clemson
Va Tech - I'm not too sure, we need a NC school first
West Virginia - yes but not really the "south"
Oklahoma State - yes great fit and rivalries already here
Texas Tech - they're not southeast by any stretch

The southern part of Missouri would fit.

Oklahoma was a stretch
The past two presidential elections every single county in Oklahoma was red. I say they fit in just fine.

its called the Southeastern Conference brother. Not trying to be a homer for East Coast teams but they culturally align better with SEC teams than schools in Texas and Oklahoma which aren't culturally the same
They also all used to be in the same conference together pre SEC and ACC because of their similarities. not a dig at Okie State and TTU its just how it is
