He left for another position after the season was over. Simple as that. Hundreds of coaches have done it before him.
Y’all were gloating when A&M hired him from TCU and I didn’t see any posts about it being mean to them.

Except for the fact that more evidence is coming in that his coming from TCU was a "John Sharp Special" (Hire a coach whose current employer is about to fire him anyway for off the field issues)

It's just about the way he handled that press conference and the timing.

I think he's pretty terrible. Probably didnt expect for it to happen like that, but it did and he is responsible. You can't care about a program and then go to their daddy rival.

Aggie is so bitter (I would be too), but this shite is getting ridiculous. He's a dick that handled his departure to your hated rival very poorly.

Press conference is fair but I don't know what timing would have better.

People don't think he is a POS for taking the job, they think he is a POS because of how he did it and what he said when he had already taken the job.

Not the only thing 8T5 gloated about.
They laughed at every program in the conference for having Pennies to their dollar and that they would buy the following:
Players
Coaches
Championships.
It was a great deflection from refusing to win championships.

Man said frick his family, he's going to A&M then left to Texas so his priorities are Texas, A & M, then family. That's according to him. Telling.

How about 48 hours post-CWS instead of 12?
Did he even tell the team?

Well he is a terrible guy, so....
He responded like a douche to a reporter asking a simple question, lied in his answer and then abandoned his team the very next day.
He should have avoided the question like a normal human being, not lied to he teams face.

Word is that the A&M brass already knew about the deal weeks ago but apparently wanted him to finish the season (or maybe thought they could change his mind). The guy who posed the question at the post-game presser was not a traditional reporter - he works for Texags, a sports message board, and he already knew the answer to the question that he asked (as did the entire Texags staff, from what I understand). The question was intended to embarrass Schloss by making him reveal his plans at the worst possible time for him and his players (after just losing the championship series).

In their view, Aggy can talk shite all day about anyone else but the second someone claps back "you're a POS!"
Aggy can poach steal, or pay for someone else's coach and they're just rich and that good at the game and you should cry about it. But when another school they can't outpay does it, "it's unfair" and "you have no honor."
Aggy can dish it out but they can never take it. They're way too weak and sensitive. fricking children.

People keep saying this but there's already a limited timeline due to A&M's run, that puts A&M two days later in finding a new coach. Schloss did them a favor by making an immediate decision, they could be just starting their search today otherwise.

Texags is one of the worst things to ever happen to A&M athletics. It's almost no coincidence that, ever since Liucci took over that site (January of 1999), A&M has been nowhere close to winning a division or conference title in football.
