Alabama is still reaping the benefits of their success from 2009-2017 and their moderate success from 2018-present. That doesn’t go away in one season. DeBoer will eventually trail off, probably by his 3rd season if he’s not fired yet, Saban was basically Bama. Bama fans don’t want to admit it because their brains cannot fathom a world where Bama isn’t the center of the SEC, but it’s already happened. No championship in 6 years.

Haven’t seen enough of Harsin because Saban got whatever he wanted, but we’ll have a better idea once the playing field gets more level after DeBoer’s been there for a season or two.

Of All the posters on this entire site, this guy is the very most extreme example that I've found of "living in his own upside down alternate reality world where up is down, left is right, and "if you can imagine it, it's true in your mind"". THAT is quite an accomplishment on this board. Congratulations! You live in your own world of extreme irrational delusion set apart from even the most delusional posters.

Bama won in 2020. No matter how much you wish it didn't count, it does. Had LSU won it all in 2020, you Tigah fans would claim it and you know it. Saying no titles in 6 years doesn't make it true no matter how much you wish it did.

Bama won SEC titles in 2018, 2020 (National Champs), 2021, and 2023. I guess that is moderate success?

But the point of thread is he better than Harsin? In this day and age I don't think just having past success gets you recruits.
