Kalen isn’t Nick and I wouldn’t want him to try and be a coach that he isn’t. I’m glad to see differences in the feeling of the program moving forward because it shows the shadow of Saban won’t actually affect the way our new coach does things.

This guy is essentially a populist. He represents the people of Alabama. He was always there, Saban just happened to be standing in the way. DeBoer, like we’ve all been saying, clearly has no idea what he’s doing.

I think it's a smart move by DeBoer to fully immerse himself into the Alabama football culture. He is from South Dakota after all. Better to see what you're in for sooner rather than later so you're prepared to deal with it.
