Seems every hour or so a Bama fan posts something about this. Maravich played back when freshmen couldn't play varsity sports and of course without a 3 point line. Sooner or later the total points record would fall ro a 4 or 5 year player. Still impressive that it stood that long considering he has been dead about 36 years. Now his 44.2 ppg career average, without rhe 3 pt. Line, let's see how much longer that stands.....but in any case it's nice to know rhe Tigers live in the tiny brains of Tide fans rent free

99% of us do not care and think the whole thing is just a failed attempt at getting under LSU fans’ skin. The 1% that do care are the ones that you see whining. Those people are mostly morons.
I think Caitlin Clark is incredible. And I also think it’s funny how all the racist black people are coming out in the comment sections showing their true colors on ESPN social media accounts. It’s funny as well as sad.
However, if ESPN keeps ramming this narrative down everyone’s throats despite us all KNOWING that they’re 2 different sports, I think ALL of us are going to be “Taylor swift made Travis Kelce famous” / “Coach Prime is changing the culture in college football” levels of annoyed.

Caitlin Clark is the all time leading scorer in Women’s College Basketball. She is #1.
Overall, Maravich gets the GOAT nod because of doing the feat in three years and not having a three-point line. If there was a three pointer, Maravich would have way more points.

I seem to recall UF fans coming out the woodworks when UF women won softball. Hypocrites are everywhere. Either way I am one that doesn’t count women sports as actual sports
