why is this such a bad thing? We aren't going to win the whole tournament, so wtih that being the case why expend oursleves (and our massively limited pitching) any more than we need to?
We've locked up hosting a regional and after losing the series to UF we've essentailly given up hosting a super, so with our fate pretty much already dialed in why not get some rest?

we could definitely host a super with some success here, IMO. the regionals start in 10 days. we can't try to win a couple of games and still get 7 days of rest?

Pretty clear that even if we had the ball pitching today, we can’t play our game at the plate; mixture of pressing and simply not being able to play the large dimensions of this field

Phelps and Alford are useless at the plate before Goldstein destroys one to right only for the fielder to make a great catch at the wall
Pitching sucks, bats can’t get going against this LSU pitcher, and the big hits we do make LSU robs on great defensive plays
