No. We win tomorrow and MS State wins, they grab the 5 seed and UGA 6 seed. We lose to OM/FL/LSU in single elimination game, we have ZERO chance to be a Super Host.
They would never take 6 Super hosts from same conference

Woke up this morning still pissed at Wes. The frick are you thinking leaving Zeldin in there to start the 10th, nevermind after he gives up back to back singles.
Also, Hunter Henry is a douche who hurt his team. He was completely right about the ump blowing the call (and that ump was trash all game) but because you had to run your mouth and couldn’t just let your coach handle it, you forced the third backup into action who directly cost us what would hve been the winning run with his poor presence of mind to manage a pickle situation.
All around, think we can still win it today but I’ve got a sour taste in my mouth about how we lost yesterday

I think we win today too, unfortunately, I think we end up 6th in SEC and will have to play, probably Ole Miss at 9:30am on elimination day of the SECT.

And this is why you don’t play the long con in the fricking SEC. Zeldin barely got through the 9th and was sitting at 50+ pitches but we strung him out so we had a full arsenal today.

Can’t figure out LSU and idk if they know what they’re going to get, either. They’ve looked awful for stretches this season and the. They go out and sweep Ole Miss this past weekend. If Goldstein gets the start Tuesday, we should be able to win and play a seemingly vulnerable Kentucky squad on Wednesday.
Concern is that Hoover Met usually isn’t the park to go to if your offense is predicated on raking. Guess we will see how defenses play us and what kind of weather we get

Polls have us at 8 (BA), 8 (PG), and 11 (D1) heading into Hoover. I’m inclined to believe that we are likely closer to the D1 ranking with a chance to move up if we can get a couple of wins this week.
Don’t think we will lose much if any ground if we lose to LSU tomorrow but our RPI is sitting at 6 right now and I’d prefer it to stay in that range. Still no word on if we throw Goldstein or Evans tomorrow. Gut tells me we throw Evans and Goldstein faces Kentucky if we win.

D1 has us projected as #8 seed right now. Would be awesome. Can’t 1 and done and keep that. If we go 2-2 that might solidify it. Crazy that 11 SEC teams currently projected in, 13 if you include next years members

pretty hype for this game with a slow day working from home.
also, very annoyed by 3 games in particular this season. i don't remember what days specifically, but they were terrible. 1 against mizzou, 1 against mississippi state, and the 1 saturday against florida. inexcusable to lose all 3 of those and could cost us.
