Can we say "No?" I guess he has leadership skills, but was looking forward to an upgrade in athleticism.

Im fine with him. I’d rather “save” that spot and get a transfer else where

Why use a transfer? We've recruited well at safety.

He wants to be part of the program and I think he does a fine job overall. Welcome back.

I’m sure it would be nice to have someone with a higher ceiling than Charleston. But he’s a pretty good floor at safety. We don’t have high NFL talent at every position.

He is a great tackler and supports the run defense in a major way. But he loses track of receivers especially in the end zone. He would be great at the STAR position. I'm assuming Burks gets the other safety spot. He played alot for a true freshman.

Nope, Carlies just announced he's coming back for next year. I expect STAR will be Carnell; Charleston and Carlies will start at safety next year, and, hopefully, Burks will be the first guy off the bench.

So assuming Pride takes 1 db spot, who is first in line for the second spot? That sounds like the only position in dispute in the secondary right?

Marcus Clarke and Norwood it would come down too im assuming. They have both played a lot this year as the number 3/4 CB.
