I’d say we’re likely to split the OU/UGA, but our new found REC officiating bump should allow us to prevail in both contests.

On the other hand, Texas seems to wilt pretty badly after a soul-crushing loss like the Colt's Shoulder travesty. Many feel that Mack Brown had a true medical nervous breakdown after this loss. Needless to say, Texas was horrible for a long time after that 2010 NC loss for the '09 season.

FFS, it wasn't until 2018 that Texas could manage a 10 win season again. Alabama didn't necessarily destroy Longhorn's spirit for all time. It was only about a decade that Texas wandered in circles licking their wounds trying to recover.

Honestly, I fear after another horrific defeat in what will be this season's NC game, Texas may never recover, even after a decade. Texas just has no kind of resiliency; they pout for a long time after a loss.

Sounds like Alabama’s future after Saban leaves.

All that was 3 coaches and 3 AD's ago, but you go on thinking we're still the same. Oh, and thanks for the vote of confidence we make it to the CCG.
