Yet some still believe a 14 point underdog should have been in the top four, and it was right to leave a 14 point favorite out??? Vegas is a lot smarter than the playoff committee

No one thinks FSU is one of the best 4 teams. But anyone with a brain knows the committee of full of shite when they say “it’s about the best 4 teams” otherwise UGA would be in and Washington or Michigan would be out. It’s not about the 4 best teams. FSU did everything asked of them and were denied simply because the committee thought Rodegarden couldn’t handle it. Was he supposed to lose?

You’re basically saying, if Bama didn’t have 2 freak miracles against Auburn, they would not be a top 4 team. That’s proof that 4 best teams is a cop out. Not buying it. There has to be some reward for running the table in the P5 and they got snubbed. There was no level of objectivity or consistency in this decision. I don’t think they’re biased towards Bama, but they absolutely bent the rules so they could justify kicking them out. Michigan and Washington are not top 4 teams.

Vegas also said Oregon was a 10 point favorite over Washington. They also said Auburn was a 21 point favorite over New Mexico State. That’s why you play the damn games or there is no reason to play them and just let Vegas pick the winners and we can find other things to do with our time on Saturdays.

FSU had a chance to vote for a 12 team playoff that would have been in effect this year from what I understand but chose to vote against it. I guess, for good reason, that they thought they could just run the table in a weak conference and get an automatic bid.

They screwed their selves if that was the case. They seem to be good at that.

I have no love for any team that made it and no sympathy for fsu. frick em and feed em fishheads. Serves them right. Karma is real.

We can do this all day but did FSU not barely squeak by Boston College? I will take the hostile atmosphere in Jordan Hare over BC Alumni Stadium anyway LOL. The ACC is a basketball conference with primarily 2 and 3 star football players. That is why Bowden denied joining the SEC all those years ago. The AU game was virtually neutralized after winning the SEC championship against in the #1 team in a playoff like setting. Meanwhile the ACC game in Charlotte was trash with a pitiful atmosphere.
