Had a faulty valve in the formulas last week that was underrepresenting pts per drive on offense in the offense formula, which is kind of an important feature. Maybe if WBT Sportz would give us more funding we'd have better interns to fix that sort of shoddy human error.

- Think A&M is slightly overvalued because of stats with Weigman. Don't think their offense is nearly as effective or efficient with Max. Should be a really interesting game in Knoxville this weekend.
- Think Auburn will score some against LSU, but not 30. Maybe more like 24.
- Washington/Oregon is going to be wild
- What is Notre Dame/USC going to look like? I have no idea.

Good job my man.. always been a fan of these rankings and your analysis.
Like the FPI, it analyzes what is happening on the field, and not necessarily the end result.. correct?
I think the list looks pretty good. Idk anything about Air Force though.. that was a surprise.
A&M has a really good team for example.. they just haven’t figured it out yet. They are going to really good next year imo. (not a joke)

You were dead on about Wyoming - they are legit. That Wyoming/Air Force game should be a good one this weekend.
And yea, feels like everyone was on that Arizona one. The whole USC thing has to be close to melting down. Don't think it'll be this weekend (though they might lose), but Washington and Oregon back to back in early November? Yikes.

Looks to me like Kansas is the #1 program in the Big XII moving forward per the metrics. Kansas vs Arizona is the new marquee conference matchup for both basketball and football.

No doubt that’s gonna be rough. CW had an off night and still had like 4 touchdowns combined? Dude is good.
Can’t wait for this weekend’s Oregon @ Udub matchup. I’m going with the home team because I think both are pretty damn good.

My dad played at Air Force so I watch their games quite a bit. They're following up an impressive last season with an even better one this year, that should be a good one for sure.

Their unadjusted numbers (no schedule strength adj) are off the charts. They've been almost perfect in terms of efficiency on offense.
- 4.3 Pt per drive
- 1st down on 83% of possessions
- #1 nationally in "value" drive rate
And their defense has been solid, too. Somebody is going to sleep walk against them in a NY6 game and get thrashed.

Playoffs gonna be..
1. Michigan / Ohio State / Penn State
2. Georgia / Alabama
3. Oregon / Washington
4. Oklahoma / Texas
5. FSU / UNC / Louisville
Undefeated > 1 loss teams
We could have nine 12-1 teams.. not gonna happen, but that’s a crazy thought and shows the parity this year at the top.
1. B1G - if Michigan, PSU and OSU split
2. SEC - if 11–1 Alabama beats 12-0 Georgia
3. B12 - if 11-1 Texas beats 12-0 Oklahoma
4. PAC - If 11-1 Oregon beats 12-0 UDub
5. ACC - idk about this one yet but it is possible

I believe Utah is the only team with a bigger difference between offensive and defensive rankings than LSU (and the only two that are over 100 spots between the two).

If we wholesale exchanged and put LSU's offense with Alabama's defense, that team would wreck some shite.
The other guys (Alabama's offense and LSU's defense) might not win a game the rest of the year.
