I think Mike's downfall was ultimately his recruiting. We lost way too much high tier in-state talent while he was coach. Nolan was a MUCH better recruiter and so is Muss. Coaching and scheme seemed like a secondary problem that might have even been avoided had Mike recruited at the level Nolan did.

I forgot how bad Pel's 2010 season was. Lost to Morgan State, East Tennessee State, South Alabama, and UAB.
