Florida… impressive.
Florida is a good school, and it looks really affordable if you're in-state.

Watering down your admission standards so you can load up on kids from New Jersey and Illinois has not had the success someone back in about 2006 thought it would.
This gap keeps growing every year when we used to be ranked about even.

Surprised how far UAT has fallen. At one time, they were top 100.

We were never really even. UAT caught up to AU by gaming admissions criteria for years. For example, for a couple of years there, to up their selectivity ranking (# of applications vs # of admissions), they made the application free and gave kids a $5 iTunes giftcard for applying. They've pulled other Saban-esque things with the rankings too. What you're seeing now is that the rankings have caught up to all the things UAT (and a few other schools around the country) were doing, and their rankings have gone back to where they were prior to all the gaming. UAT is about where they were in the 1990's now.

Every school in that list offers young people the opportunity to obtain a world class education in a variety of fields.

No wonder Willy Jr was able to graduate. It's all clear now.

Ole Miss and MSU rankings are hurt due to low acceptance standards leading to many students who shouldn’t be there in the first place
The quality of the education is fine

It's sad that so many of you AU guys believe that bullshite that you just typed. Do you honestly think there is that big of a difference between the students at UA compared to AU? When you UA was ranked much higher 10-15 years ago that stats for the students coming in were much lower. The quality of students have only gotten better yet UA seems to be the only school that gets punished for that. The amount of scholarships UA gives out is astounding allowing the students to graduate with little debt. I think that is a better service than the 20% peer opinion of the school
