A lot of wrong opinions regarding these Florida schools. Florida has a much deeper and richer fanbase that either of the other two. Florida has never had much patience with their football program. Hire and fire has been their MO for decades. There are plenty of football fans in the state of Florida. Everyone in Florida is not an old retired person from the northeast. I have lived in Florida, but not in several decades. It gets too doggone hot for me.

Miami has no fanbase, that is the reason the SEC never gave them a serious look when the SEC was looking to expand when they brought on the hogs and the chickens.
FSU was looked at but Bowden did not want to enter that briar patch called the SEC.

This expansion just for expansion's sake is beyond my ability to comprehend. Evidently it is too far advanced for me to understand it.

I think a decent amount will get an invite but I also think it's highly possible some of these schools are being vetted for head to head purposes, for ex maybe Stanford is a take and cal and Utah are being vetted to see who fits better bc there isn't room for both

SEC just needs to lock down the south, which starts at Virginia.

Utah seems a little surprising. Not quite the academic fit I would think they are looking for. BTW, I sure hope they take Miami before our a-hole commissioner pursues them.
