And another thing, if an opposing team was hiring Beard I wouldn’t give a damn about any sort of issues he has had. I’d only be concerned that team might actually become decent. So the naysayers can have at it. It’s mostly complete fictional outrage.

I agree on Murrell, even though he was off his game most of the season. Brakefield was pretty good for us most nights. We had a couple freshmen who had to play way too much way too often. Beard has work to do for sure.

Murrell, Brakefield and Ruffin were all big time recruits. I would like them to stick around to see if a new staff can get more out of them.
FWIW, Jarrett Culver and Zhaire Smith were recruited to TX Tech as 3 stars and ended up mid to high first rounders
