I don't know why some people have a difficult time with this. Look at that 2018 QB room Alabama possessed. You had Tua Tagovailoa, Jalen Hurts, and Mac Jones. All three of them are NFL starters in 2023. Only one of them could start at Alabama that year and it just so happened that it was Tua who won the job.

frick man, are we counting all transfers now with our recordkeeping?

Is it supposed to bother me that Oklahoma claims Jalen Hurts?
Hurts is a Bammer and a Sooner. No issue with that.
Do you want to file a hurt feelings report?

Maybe ask the guy who randomly posted an Oklahoma poster in the middle of a Bama thread.

If they were a multi-year starter and graduated with a degree from your University, sure. Why wouldn’t you?

Which one of those Pro Bowlers was on our roster this year?
Then why'd you post it on the SEC Rant?
BTW, it's Saban. Saban is the problem.

Because no other team in the history of SEC football, or all of college football has had as many alums on the Pro Bowl roster at one time as the mighty Alabama Crimson Tide.
Deal with it, sucka.

So it was different a few years ago when LSU was getting NFL accolades?
The same?
Sour grapes much?

Wait, both Bama and OU are claiming Hurts?

OU is the reason he is in the NFL and excelling. Just look at his yearly college stats, it will stand out on where he developed the most.

I’m old enough to remember when Bama bragged in the offseason about winning national championships. Now y’all brag about a tremendously insignificant nfl exhibition participation trophy. Sad. So sad.
What a fall for that once mighty program.

Yeah, it's not like this could help with recruiting. High school kids don't want to attend a college program proven to be a pipeline to the NFL. They DEFINITELY don't aspire to be pro bowlers in the NFL after being taken in the first two rounds. What a shitty pitch that definitely WON'T work and result in #1 recruiting classes. Give it up Saban! You're doing it all wrong!

Hurts graduated at Bama. He is a class act. You will not find a better person. As a Bama fan I’m happy for him.
