They'll overpay for someone after others turn them down

Funny, during the sCamdal in 2010, i posted a topic with the subject “BREAKING: NCAA announces ruling on Cam Newton’s eligibilty” with the same link.
It was immediately removed and I got a nastygram from Chicken about how played out RickRolling was and that the next time I pulled such a juvenile stunt I would get the banhammer.

Harsin was making 1.75mil. He got $31.5 for 6 years (5.25/yr) from Auburn. If he's fired at the end of this calendar year, he gets $15 million, meaning for 2 years' work he'll have been paid $25.5 million by Auburn. It would take him 15 years to have earned that much at Boise.
As long as Auburn is paying people that kind of money not to coach their team, the line of people willing to put up with a couple years of misery will be very long.

I could put up with a lot of BS for that buyout. No need for him to resign. Just ride it out until he gets fired and then get paid.
